About Us
Hello, and welcome to Perkins & Morley
Perkins & Morley are Jill Perkins and Jan Morley, and we have been a designing duo since 1987.
The Perkins & Morley story started many moons ago (over 30 years to be precise!) when we were both studying graphic design at Middlesex Polytechnic.
Our shared passions for art, design, travel, and nature (not necessarily in the same order) led us to travel to Sri Lanka where we created designs for a wooden toy manufacturer.
Still designing for other companies, we branched out into tableware, and then, in 2010, an idea from Jill and a drawing of an otter from Jan sparked the beginnings of our own brand.
The cheeky otter went on to form part of our best-selling Collective Noun range of greetings cards and gift-ware, loved by customers all over the globe.
Now, with ranges such as Zigzag, Pulp, Animal Ink, and our new Wilder and Wild Wood ranges.
We are delighted that our customers continue to enjoy our quirky sense of humour and our love of wildlife and nature, just as much as we do.
We love animals, nature and where we live. It is our mission to help you have a connection to nature by designing and making products that fill your life and home with nature inspired gifts and home-wares.
We love what the UK has to offer. Not only does it give us beautiful scenery and an immense variety of birds and animals; but talented craftspeople we can call upon to make all our greetings cards and gifts.
We are proud to say we design and make everything in the UK; we print our cards in Essex, our tea towels in Redcar and London and a range of gifts including coasters, key-rings, clocks, and chalkboards are all hand-made in Pershore.
About Jill Perkins
Jill lives in Devon with her husband and dog called Smidge. Recently Jill has discovered the joy of painting landscapes so has signed up for many art classes.
Pastels are currently her favourite materials. She loves walking, travelling, eating and is a keen animal and bird watcher.
About Jan Morley
Jan lives in Cumbria with her partner and her dog called Goose.
She has recently started making abstract paintings, hence the new Abstract range….and is obsessed!
Jan can be often be found roaming the hills of Cumbria and Yorkshire with her art materials and her folding fisherman’s seat, sploshing lots of inks and acrylic paint about…..
